The ADC-2550C features a brilliant high resolution 10.4-inch LED back-lit LCD display. The high resolution display features a touchscreen interface, allowing the calibrator to be controlled directly from the front panel. An on-screen keyboard is used for on-screen input. A USB keyboard and mouse are also included for auxiliary input. The calibrator uses two (2) high precision, non-density sensitive transducers, which provide unmatched accuracy and performance. Corrections are done through software, requiring no mechanical adjustments, and are capable of holding their accuracy for a period of at least one (1) year.
The ADC-2550C can measure, graph and record tolerance and accuracy errors. This data can be printed for reports and quality assurance records or stored within the unit. The ADC-2550C is an ideal solution for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and rack-mounted programs. All ports are located on the rear panel and RS-232 remote interface are available.
Simple Intuitive Interface
The ADC-2550C software provides a familiar and intuitive graphical user interface for any operator. The calibrator measures and record readings and displays the data in table format or graphically in real-time. Each session is automatically saved and stored on the calibrator. This file can be printed for calibration reports and records and backed up to a network or removable media. In addition, the calibrator can be operated remotely through the RS-232 (serial) or IEEE-488 (optional) located on the rear panel. The ADC-2550C operating system platform provides for expandability through software upgrades, allowing it to adapt to future testing requirements.
Safety and Protection
The ADC-2550C incorporates several hardware and software measures to protect the air data calibrator and the device under test (DUT). The ADC-2550C features input pressure regulation, over-range, over-limit and over-pressurization protection. 5 micron micro-porous filters and screening prevent debris from entering the system. The calibrator is equipped with pressure relief valves to protect the pneumatic system components and the DUT from damage caused by excessive pressures. The front panel manual vent switch is used to accelerate venting of the Ps manifold to ambient pressure. The software is designed with limit exceedances and settings, providing additional safety to the DUT. The software will prompt and/or warn the user when pressure ranges exceed the limitations of the calibrator or the DUT. Test Profiles can be set up for different test applications so that users are not required to manually enter set points and tolerance each time.
