John Ashton


John Ashton is Executive Vice President of Raptor's Radar Cross Section business. John was previously the vice president of Sensor Concepts Incorporated (SCI) for over 20 years. He has been the lead architect and designer for the Integrated Zone Measurement Systems, to include the SCI-1000, SCI-2k, SCI-2k-B2A, and SCI-Xe-AC. Additionally, he has led numerous field measurement activities on stealth platforms, to include the F-117, B-2, F-22 and F-35 aircraft, as well as many other developmental platforms. Mr. Ashton began his career at the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, CA as a Radar Engineer prior to co-founding Sensor Concepts Incorporated. He shares two patents for innovative use of chirp waveforms. He has also published and presented several papers at the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) regarding new and novel RCS measurement techniques. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A& M University - Kingsville (formerly Texas A&I).


Peter Barry


Peter Barry is the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Raptor Scientific. Previously he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at National Technical Systems where he was responsible for overseeing business for 27 facilities in the North America and 1 in Europe. He has extensive experience in developing strategies and building strong sales and marketing organizations. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Minor in Communications from Curry College.


Richard Brinley


Richard Brinley is the Executive Vice President of the Raptor Avionics Systems (AS) business group. He was previously General Manager of TestVonics, Inc. and was instrumental in the successful growth and management of the company for over 20 years. He has been involved in nearly all aspects of Air Data Test Systems, from product development and mechanical design to marketing, sales and customer support. Richard studied Plastics Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Management Information Systems (MIS) at the University of Massachusetts Boston.


Derek Coppinger


Derek Coppinger is the chief executive officer at Raptor Scientific. An experienced executive with roles as a CEO an Officer in a Public Company, Senior Executive in Private Equity backed company and Chairman of the Board for a National Trade Association. A career driving revenue growth, leading operations, and spearheading mergers & acquisitions for significant company growth. Expert in defining and formulating Sales & Marketing go-to-market strategy for multiple businesses in multiple markets. Previously he served as vice president at Newcastle Systems, chairman of board at ACIL; senior vice president, chief sales and marketing officer, and chief operating officer at National Technical Systems, and director of sales and marketing at NQA Global. Coppinger holds a Master’s in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems from Cranfield University.


Hunter Isakson


Hunter Isakson is the Chief Financial Officer at Raptor Scientific. Prior to joining Raptor, Hunter led the Accounting and Finance team at Markforged, Inc., a key player in the additive manufacturing industry. He has also been responsible for leading Finance organizations in the semiconductor space and general manufacturing/distribution. In addition to his experience in these manufacturing industries, Hunter has spent over 15 years in professional services with KPMG and Grant Thornton, leading projects on both buy- and sell-side transaction advisory services. Hunter is a licensed CPA and holds a Masters and Bachelors in Accounting from Wake Forest University.


Dan Otlowski


Dan Otlowski is Executive Vice President of Raptors, Mass Properties business. Dan was previously Executive Vice President of Space Electronics where for over 30 years he specialized in bringing new technologies and methods into the company’s core competencies and taking a leadership role in systems design and troubleshooting. Dan has in-depth engineering and experience from working on multiple aerospace and defense programs with numerous customers and government agencies.
